Collared Pratincole

A Collared Pratincole was found on the island of Amager near Copenhagen on the 31st of May. It represents the 18th record (if accepted) for Denmark. I've been a fairly frequent visitor to the Danish capitol city in recent years but this was the first time that it paid off birdwise.

3/6 Vestamager. The bird was frequently seen foraging. The reddish underwings just visible in this image.

3/6 Vestamager. White trailing wing-edge and longish tail-feathers.

3/6 Vestamager. Having a look at the national bird of Denmark.
